Traditional Chinese medicines containing small molecules of scopolane,such as Hyoscyamus and Rhizoma Dioscorea,have been used in my country for more than 2 000 years.Tropane alkaloids(TAs)is a muscarinic receptor antagonists.It is now a routine therapeutic drug in clinical practice,which is a kind of therapeutic drug for the improvement of microcirculatory disturbance.This arti-cle reviews the pharmacological effects,pharmacokinetics,toxicology,and clinical application of TAs in microcirculatory disorders.The purpose is to provide an in-depth analysis of the relationship between TAs,microcirculation disorders and diseases,and to provide basis for the clinical application of TAs.
