Investigation and Correlation Analysis of Constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine among Migrant Power Grid Employ-ees Working on Plateau at Different Altitudes
Objective:To investigate the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine constitution of migrant workers in power grid on the plateau at different altitudes and explore their correlations.Methods:The migrant workers in power grid who had worked at least 1 year at an altitude of 3500m-5500m during Jan 2021 to Jun 2022 were investigated by on-site questionnaire survey.Then the surveys were collected and the constitutional types were analyzed in classification statistically.The distribution characteristics of gentleness con-stitution type and imbalanced constitution type between different altitudes were obtained.Based on the scores of the imbalanced consti-tution types,the bivariate correlation analysis and factor analysis were carried out and the distributional characteristics and correlations of composite constitutions between different altitudes were concluded.Results:(1)Compared between high altitude and ultra-high al-titude,the proportion of gentleness constitution type was lower than that of imbalanced constitution type,and the proportion of gentle-ness constitution type in male was higher than that in female.From high altitude to ultra-high altitude,the proportion of gentleness con-stitution type gradually decreased as the proportion of gentleness constitution type gradually increased.Statistical difference of gentle-ness constitution type and imbalanced constitution type between different altitudes existed statistically in female population and the workers at the age of 43 to 55(P<0.05)but not in all and in male population and the workers aged 18 to 42(P>0.05).(2)The constitutions were mainly composite oN the plateau.In high altitude areaY,the composite constitution types were easily formed be-tween:Qi-deficiency and Yang-deficiency,Blood-stasis and Qi-depression;Yin deficiency and Phlegm-dampness,Dampness-heat.In ultra-high altitude areas,the composite constitution types were easily formed between:Yin-deficiency and Phlegm-dampness,Damp-ness-heat;Dampness-heat and Blood-stasis,Specific-diathesis;Qi-Deficiency and Yang-deficiency.Conclusion:The majority constitu-tion of the migrant workers in the power grid on the plateau is composite constitution,and the constitution of female workers and workers aged 43 to 55 are more likely to be affected by altitude.Moreover,the combination of composite constitution types differed from different altitudes,indicating that composite constitution types and altitude have a certain correlation and this correlation is complex and changea-ble.
