"New Ruralism"Theory and the Practice in Spatial Renovation of Rural Settlements:Taking Huangyan District in Taizhou City,Zhejiang Province as an Example
The century-long process of rural construction in China has revealed fundamental changes in agricultural productivity reform,social system reform,and the resulting rural socio-economic structure.It reveals the profound impact of industrialization and urbanization on rural evolution.Throughout the historical process,in the new stage of implementing the rural revitalization strategy in China,there is an urgent need to innovate planning and construction theories so as to provide guidance for high-level village planning and the implementation of high-quality rural construction actions.The"New Ruralism"planning and construction theory is based on the localization practices in Huangyan rural areas of Zhejiang Province over the past decade.It explores and summarizes the theoretical frameworks of the three principles of suitability,three in one,three levels,and three types of planning from practice,and has achieved good results in practice.It can provide a reference for rural revitalization work under similar conditions.
