Aiming at the problem that urban geographic spa-tiotemporal data is difficult to generate map results quickly and efficiently,this paper takes relevant map application scenes and geographic data of Shenzhen City as an example to analyze the demand characteristics of relevant scenes for map mapping so as to design the structure of map template and de-velop a template-driven lightweight online mapping tool. The mapping tool realizes rapid mapping rendering of geographic data,which can effectively improve the efficiency and quality of online mapping,and meet the needs of relevant depart-ments for rapid mapping and efficient mapping in various appli-cation scenarios.
