Evaluation and Analysis of US-India Geo-military Relations
Since the beginning of the new century,US-India geo-military relations have rapidly warmed up,with unprecedented cooperation in military security and defense.And in recent years,the United States and India have jointly promoted the implementation of the"Indo-Pacific Strategy",which has made China's surrounding geopoliti-cal environment more and more complicated.Based on the geopolitical reality,the evaluation index system of geo-military relationship from military behavior is constructed in this paper.Analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method are used to assign weights.And the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to comprehen-sively evaluate and analyze the geo-military relations between the United States and India.The results show that the trend of the geo-military relations between the United States and India is steady and upward after the new century,especially after Obama's second term.In terms of military alliances and partners,it is the leaping development.In terms of military dialogues and visits,it is volatile and upward.It has continued to advance in joint exercises,training and rescue,military intelligence and education,and is the slow development in military equipment and deployment.The development of geo-military relations between the two sides is still restricted by bilateral strategic objectives,institutional policies and other factors.
