Concept Connotation and Measurement Method of National Geo-influence
Concept system is the core support of a certain subject field or even a discipline.Specifically,it is a pro-fessional term in this field.Geo-influence is one of the important concepts derived from the concept of state power or national influence,which is used to characterize the geopolitical relationship parameters between states or politi-cal actors.By combining the methods of geographical science and national political thinking,using the methods of induction,deduction and comparative analysis,the concept of geo-influence is defined in this paper.Its dynamic process and composition are analyzed,and its evaluation methods are discussed.The main conclusions are as fol-lows.1)Geo-influence is different from power and national influence,which is a kind of force caused by geographic location,national strength,interest driven and interaction with the affected countries or regions under certain spa-tial relationship constraints.2)The dynamic process of implementing geo-influence involves many links,mainly composed of internal force,external driving force,interactive force and restrictive force.The characteristics of geo-influence are mainly reflected in imbalance,compulsion and distance attenuation law.3)It can be evaluated from the direction,the point,the strength and the intensity of the force.The function elements of geo-influence are ex-pressed as the influence factors of each link in the dynamic process,whose weights are different.The strength of geo-influence can be calculated by using the model.
