Analysis on the Influences of Mixed Constellation on BDS PPP and Zenith Tropospheric Delay Estimation
Based on the mixed constellation of BeiDou navigation satellite system(BDS),the influences of three types of BDS satellites on precise point positioning(PPP)and zenith tropospheric delay(ZTD)estimation were analyzed.Four kinds of satellite combination schemes including MEO,MEO+GEO,MEO+IGSO and MEO+GEO+IGSO were designed for BDS PPP test by using observation data from 4 MGEX stations. The results show that:1)The three-dimensional position accuracy of BDS PPP using MEO satellites is the best. The addition of IGSO satel-lites can significantly improve the accuracy of E coordinate and shorten the convergence time of PPP,but the accu-racy of U coordinate decreases slightly.2)The accuracy of ZTD estimated by BDS PPP using MEO satellites is the best, and its standard deviation is less than 10 mm.The addition of GEO satellites can significantly increase the standard deviation of the ZTD estimation and IGSO satellites have no contribution to the ZTD estimation of PPP.
