Governing schools by law is an inevitable requirement to carry out in-depth implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law under the law-based governance of China.And it has far-reaching signifi-cance for promoting the modernization of the system and capacity for govern-ance of universities on the track of the rule of law.The construction of the rule of law in the discipline inspection and supervision work at universities is an important part of governing schools by law.And the basic concept of which is to implement"good law and good governance".We should take"system governance"as the cornerstone,teachers and students as the cen-ter,and"political effect,disciplinary and legal effect,social effect"as the governance goal.Through consolidating the foundation of the construction of the rule of law by closely following system construction,the goal is to ex-pand the radiation by deepening publicity and education,improve the effec-tiveness by focusing on key areas,and build strong guarantee by optimizing the cadre team.
