Whether the National Standard for Teaching Quality of Marketing Major is Effectively Implemented—Based on a Survey of 44 Application-oriented Colleges and Universities in 9 Provinces
In order to understand the implementation of National Standard for Teaching Quality of Business Administration Majors in Universi-ties(hereinafter referred to as National Standard)for marketing majors at applied universities.This study collected the literatures about national stand-ard and teaching quality standard system.The research carried out a ques-tionnaire survey of marketing deans at 44 applied universities in 9 provinces from the following four aspects:the basic information of participating uni-versities,the marketing professional personnel training,the construction of marketing major,and the implementation of National Standard.Natinonal Standard played an important guiding role in the professional construction at universities.The major construction level and the implementation of national standards at public universities are better than at private universities.The marketing major at universities faced with the challenges of insufficient re-source investment,insufficient famous teachers and professional leaders,and lack of specialty characteristics.This study putted forward some sugges-tions for the construction of marketing major at applied universities from the aspects of understanding national standard,comparison and sorting,system construction,and continuous improvement.
