Investigation of the Political Quality of Leading Cadres in Colleges and Universities:Research on Current Situation,Challenges and Strategies
Investigating the political quality of leading cadres is the key to cadre selection,training,management and use.However,the actu-al investigation work becomes difficult because political quality is character-ized by complexity,implicitness,variability and being abstract and diffi-cult to be quantified.According to the connotation,characteristics and his-torical evolution of political quality in different historical periods,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation and the challenges of the in-vestigation on political quality of leaders in colleges and universities.It also constructs the investigation strategy for the political quality of university leaders from five aspects,including establishing a pluralistic and collabora-tive investigation mechanism for the political quality of cadres,building a clear and quantitative investigation index system,creating a multi-angled,all-round and three-dimensional investigation method,establishing ca-dres'political quality files,and strengthening the application of the investi-gation results.
