Log Calculation Method of Horizontal In-Situ Stress in BH Complex Fault Block Oilfield
The magnitude and direction of in-situ stress has great significance to oil and gas exploration & development engineering, and the accurate calculation of horizontal in-situ stress is the key. The fault structure is developed in Bohai oilfield, the state of in-situ stress is complicated and changeable, and the commonly used model for calculating horizontal in-situ stress has poor adaptability. Based on the characteristics of complex fault blocks in BH oilfield and the results of rock mechanics and in-situ stress simultaneous measurement, the influence degree of various fault elements on the horizontal in-situ stress is analyzed, and the influence factor KH and Kh estimation method of fault on the magnitude of in-situ stress are established. On this basis, the horizontal in-situ stress calculation model (BH model) suitable for complex fault block structure is improved. Using BH model and logging data, the horizontal in-situ stress of different layers in the working area can be calculated continuously and accurately. The calculation accuracy of in-situ stress is not only better than the traditional model, but also can meet the need of drilling and fracturing engineering.
