Identification and Gas-Bearing Evaluation of Favorable Reservoirs for Mudstone Biogas Field
With the continuous development of gas fields in the SH area, the Quaternary mudstone biogas, which is a non-main layer, has become an important exploration and development target for oilfields to increase reserves and production.Due to the fine lithology, high shale content, small thickness, poor diagenesis, complex pore structure, and strong heterogeneity of such reservoirs, the contrast of logging responses between reservoirs and non-reservoirs is low,and it is difficult to identify favorable reservoirs. The high salinity of formation water and the scattered high conductivity pyrite also make it difficult to identify and evaluate reservoir fluids. In this paper,by using natural gamma, neutron, and other conventional well logging curve,we build FSD sand index to characterize the reservoir sand characteristics, calculate the content of mud,and identify favorable reservoir.Using three porosity curves difference ratio method, the synthetic acoustic time difference method, and the improvement of neutrons—acoustic gas instruction method and so on the many kinds of logging gas reservoir recognition technology to comprehensive analysis and identification of the laminar liquid storage, building FGAS reservoir gas indicating parameters to calculate gas saturation in the reservoirs. The practical application has achieved good effect, providing a feasible scheme for mudstone gas logging evaluation and searching for potential layers.
