Disability-inclusive Business:The Practice of China and Reflection
As revealed by the empirical research,disability-inclusive business(DIB)in China has begun to take shape, and can be divided into three models based on the main driving force, namely government-led businesses driven by representatives of persons with disabilities,enterprise-led businesses with involvement of persons with disabilities and social organization-led businesses for matching business resources to persons with disabilities.Stakeholders such as the government, enterprises, social organizations and persons with disabilities generate interactions to build accessible environments for persons with disabilities in the business value chain under specific organizational, political, economic, social and even geographic conditions in pursuit of the goal of substantive equality. However, there is still much room for improvement in the development of business organizations, the coverage of groups, and other aspects of DIB in China. In the future,it is suggested to learn advanced experiences from foreign countries, and draw on the strengths of the above-mentioned three models to complement each other based upon domestic resources,so as to promote the vigorous development of DIB with Chinese characteristics.
