Design of Wearable Fingertip Force Feedback System for Touch Screen Interaction
Force tactile representation technology plays an important role in enhancing the sense of realism and immersion between users and touch screens.A wearable fingertip force feedback device for touch screen image information perception is proposed. The fingertip force feedback mechanism based on string traction drive is de-signed,and the device is divided into driving and wearable parts,so that it has the characteristics of small, light and easy to wear. The measurement and control system is designed to detect and control the output feedback force.Image information extraction and force tactile modeling algorithms are studied to obtain three-dimensional feature information of objects in images, and combining force feedback device and measurement and control system to reproduce and feedback information of image texture height and contour. The experimental results show that the device can provide a maximum feedback force of 5.3 N,which can help users perceive the height and shape information of the image in the touch screen.
