Study on Mechanical Properties of Shape Memory Alloys and Their Application in Variant Structures
Shape memory alloys(SMA)have been extensively studied and applied because of their unique shape memory effect(SME).Based on the the Müller-Achenbach-Seelecke model of SMA,the return force of a single SMA wire is verified by numerical calculation,and a SMA wire actuator is designed and applied to the wing with integrated variable sweep angle structure.The principle,scheme and specific structure design of the wing continuous sweep deflection are implemented,and the swept back wing model is fabricated.At the same time,in order to realize the precise control of wing sweep angle change,PID control method is used to design a closed-loop control system with double-way signal feedback of SMA temperature and deflection angle,and the control of wing deflection is completed.The experimental results show that the wing can achieve 45° deflec-tion,and the average steady-state error after deflection to the set angle is controlled within±0.3°,so the de-flection angle can be accurately controlled.
