Design and Application of a Device for Study on Rotor Blades Tip-Timing Menthod
In order to validate the accuracy of the identification results(vibration frequency and amplitude of blades)obtained by the circumferential Fourier fit(CFF)method in the tip-timing technique,so as to apply the test results obtained by this method to evaluate the safety margin of rotor blades dynamic strength,a simple simulated test device with simultaneous strain gauge method and CFF method is designed, and experimental re-search is conducted. The result of the research shows that in the identification of blade vibrating amplitude, the difference between strain gauge method and CFF method is between±15%;in the identification of blade vi-brating frequency, the difference between strain gauge method and CFF method is between±1.8%;by means of finite element analysis, the measured results of the tip-timing method are reversely calculated as dynamic stress, well then the dynamic stress of blades in actual work can be understood. The proposed method is simple and easy, which is very meaningful in engineering applications.
