Ultrasonic C-Scan Imaging Technology Based on Robot
The application and promotion of robotic-assisted ultrasonic testing technology promotes the develop-ment of ultrasonic testing technology to automated and intelligent.High precision and efficient automated tes-ting is gradually achieved in industrial spots.Currently,most robotic ultrasonic testing equipment is still in the prototype stage.Some of these key technologies are not broken and can't be applied in industry in the short term.The critical technologies of robotic ultrasonic scanning and imaging are analyzed from four aspects,inclu-ding system composition,coordinate system relationships establishment,scan-trajectories planning,synchronous acquisition and C-scan imaging.The aluminium alloy sample with artifical defect of flat-bottomed hole is taken as the research object to perform the ultrasonic scanning and imaging test.The results indicate that the detec-tion sensitivity of the robotic ultrasonic scanning and imaging system can reach the equivalent size of Φ0.15 mm flat-bottomed hole artificial defects.
