Discussion and practice of low-cost ironmaking methods
In order to achieve the goal of low-cost ironmaking, the control of metallurgical properties of sintered ore by economic material ratio, the influence of raw material structure on blast furnace ( BF ) condition, and the improvement of economic indicators of BF by smelting process operation were explored. Corresponding optimization measures and operational ideas were proposed and practiced in the 1080 m3 BF of Wen' an Iron and Steel. The results show that it is necessary to balance various metallurgical performance indicators of sintered ore in order to improve the reducibility of sintered ore, the FeO content should be reduced to 7.0%~8.0%, and the proportion of 5~10 mm granularity of sinter should increase to 25%~30% for small and medium-sized BF;By using methods such as increasing the proportion of lump ore and adding inferior coke, BF can obtain economical raw material structures. At the same time, by adopting processes such as large ore batches, low coke ratios, and low [ Si] smelting, the smelting cost of BF can be effectively reduced, but it is necessary to adopt appropriate oxygen enrichment rate and smelting intensity to adapt to economic material smelting.
