Parameter optimization design of high-power tractor HMCVT
Hydraulic Mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission ( HMCVT ) is a composite transmission that combines hydraulic continuously variable transmission and mechanical continuously variable transmission.This paper designs a new type of hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission based on high-power tractors.To design a hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission with high transmission efficiency and large transmission range, a genetic algorithm based on penalty function is proposed to optimize the transmission system parameters of the transmission.Through the simulation and analysis of the continuously variable characteristics, torque characteristics, and power split bit characteristics of a hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission using Matlab software, the rationality of the designed transmission parameters is verified.Moreover, the total transmission efficiency of the system is calculated by employing the meshing power method to further verify the rationality of the designed transmission parameters.Our results show the hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission scheme meets the characteristics of high-power tractor continuously variable speed regulation, and wide speed ranges and high transmission efficiency in each section are achieved.The efficiency of each working section of the transmission exceeds 80%.
