Feature recognition and extraction method of welding seam for complex welded parts based on feature surface boundary
To realize the recognition and data extraction of weld features in 3D models for complex welded parts and establish the feature representation model of weld features,this paper proposes a method of weld feature recognition and extraction based on feature surface boundary.First,the topological surfaces of the parts are stored in the hash table,the coincidence surfaces in the welded parts are quickly identified according to the hash table,the directed adjacency graph of the coincidence surface boundary is constructed,and the coincidence surfaces are merged. Then,according to the joint type,the corresponding node is extracted from the directed adjacency diagram to realize the extraction of the weld. Finally,to realize the representation of weld features,a method of weld feature representation based on feature surface boundary shape is proposed.The representation method of"basic feature+shape feature value"is employed to represent weld features.Our example test shows the algorithm accurately identifies various types and shapes of welds,and the feature representation model accurately represents welds,demonstrating the effectiveness of the algorithm.
