Research on the impact of digital economy on economic resilience——Based on the perspective of coordinated urban and rural development
Improving economic resilience is the key to stabilizing the macroeconomic market.Based on provincial panel data from 2011 to 2021,this study explains the relationship between digital economy and economic resilience from a new perspective of urban-rural coordinated development. The results show that the digital economy can significantly improve the resilience of regional economy. In order to solve the endogeneity problem in the model, the 2SLS regression with Bartik as an instrumental variable is still robust. The results of regional heterogeneity show that the positive impact of digital economy on economic resilience in the central region is significantly better than that in the western and eastern regions. The digital economy promotes the optimization of urban and rural consumption structure to improve economic resilience, and the digital economy promotes the income level of urban and rural residents to enhance economic resilience. Therefore, from the perspective of coordinated urban-rural development, the digital economy can optimize the consumption structure of urban and rural areas, improve the level of urban and rural income, promote the coordinated growth of urban and rural income, and improve the level of economic resilience.
