Research on the formation mechanism and guiding strategies for the shortage of urban parking space
This paper takes the formation mechanism of the dilemma of urban parking space shortage as the research object.The feedback relationship of causal loop is employed to analyze the mechanism of various factors on the shortage of urban parking space.By integrating the system dynamics theory and the grey system theory (GM-SD theory for short),we propose a nonlinear function algorithm based on GM-SD theory to determine the variables with nonlinear characteristics.The"fee-subsidy"strategy (congestion charging and public transport subsidy),"intelligence-sharing"strategy (smart parking,shared parking and P&R parking lot) and"ethos-propaganda"strategy (social atmosphere,environmental psychology,publicity and education) are simulated separately and analyzed under different schemes.With our simulation results,the existing treatment schemes are optimized,providing some references for tackling the shortage of urban parking spaces in China.
