At present,China's social welfare system,encompassing income distribution,employment,social security,and other fields,has become a crucial support for promoting social equity and economic development. Analyzing the evolution and optimization pathways of the social welfare system and exploring its significant role in promoting the high-quality development of people's livelihood have both theoretical and practical implications. In the new era,through coordinated efforts to optimize pension systems,improve social assistance and welfare systems,deepen housing reforms,and refine income distribution mechanisms,the nation has established a more comprehensive social welfare network. This network has effectively enhanced the quality of life,promoted social equity,and simultaneously strengthened the nation's governance capacity,laying a solid institutional foundation for achieving common prosperity and sustainable development.
