Cultural nihilism does great harm to china's revolution and construction,seriously threatened the fundamental guiding position of Marxism,attacks the revolutionary forces,destroys the construction of the Party and the state,and hindered the development of socialist cause.Mao Zedong criticized the idealistic historical view of cultural nihilism with historical materialism,the minority leading view of cultural nihilism with the view of people as the main body,and the metaphysics of cultural nihilism with dialectics.In the face of great changes that have not occurred in a century,cultural nihilism has eroded the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in a more concealed network way.Mao Zedong's criticism of cultural nihilism provides a correct world outlook and methodological guidance for effectively dealing with the influence of cultural nihilism in the new era.
