Reassessment of China's Clean Energy Objectives under the"Dual Carbon"Goal-Based on the Meta-analysis Method
Based on the Meta-Analytical Method, this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of research outcomes related to the prediction of clean energy production and consumption, and reassesses the development objectives of China's clean energy under the context of the"Dual Carbon"goal. The research results show that China's average clean energy production is expected to reach 894 million tce(accounting for 34.97%),1.269 billion tce(accounting for 44.24%),1.645 billion tce(accounting for 53.50%),2.771 billion tce(accounting for 81.29%),and 3.522 billion tce(accounting for 99.82%)in 2025,2030,2035,2050,and 2060,respectively.Additionally,the future average consumption of clean energy in China is expected to grow from 1.331 billion tce(accounting for 26.71%)in 2025 to 1.706 billion tce(accounting for 35.98%),2.082 billiontce(accounting for 45.24%),3.208 billiontce(accounting for 73.03%),and 3.959 billion tce(accounting for 91.56%)in 2030,2035,2050,and 2060,respectively.To achieve the"Dual Carbon"targets, the paper proposes policy recommendations in three areas:further deepening the forecast and research on clean energy, intensifying the implementation of a series of comprehensive policies to advance the clean energy transition, and scientifically constructing a dynamic adjustment mechanism for clean energy development objectives.
