Abstract
The pursuit of a good life is the perennial overarching goal of humanity.Exploring the sinicization of Marx's concept of a good life provides direction for cultivating and embodying the core socialist values,offering strong ideological support for people's pursuit of a good life,and creating a magnificent narrative for the Communist Party of China's leadership in realizing a good life.The Chinese practice of Marx's concept of a good life includes:a solid material foundation that guarantees the realization of a good life,the construction of ecological civilization that provides sustainable development vitality for a good life,and the advocacy of labour as a powerful driving force for a good life.In practice,experiences have been gained in consistently upholding the Party's leadership,advocating rational consumption patterns,fully harnessing the subjective initiative of the people,providing sound social security,and promoting a beautiful and livable ecological environment.In the new era and on a new journey,the sinicization of Marx's concept of a good life needs to be further developed by adhering to the Party's leadership,putting the people at the centre,strengthening the top-level design of the"Chinese-style modernization and good life,"linking individuals'pursuit of a good life with the Communist Party of China's goals and struggles,adhering to China's socialist characteristics as the necessary choice for realizing a good life of the people,cultivating and practicing the core socialist values as the value guidance for constructing a"Chinese-style modernization and good life,"and addressing the strategic key of resolving the imbalance and inadequacy of development in order to achieve a good life for the people,which is conducive to promoting the high-quality development of the sinicization of Marx's concept of a good life.
