The Effects of Rare Earth Elements on Algae-growth
The effects of rare earth elements (REEs) on algae-growth have been frequently researched in the past three decades. It is mainly manifested in two aspects: the influence of REEs on the growth of algae for the prevention of eutrophication, and the study on the purpose of farming economy algae. In this paper, the effects are reviewed from these two perspectives, the influence of rare earth elements on algae-growth research is reviewed and the direction of research in the future is pointed out.
