Research on flatness of enterprise organization structure driven by intelligent technology upgrading
The organizational structure flattening is the only way to solve the drawbacks of enterprise bureaucracy,distor-tion of information transmission and low innovation vitality. With the continuous innovation of intelligent technologies,it is necessary for enterprises to use a series of emerging intelligent technologies to empower managers to achieve organiza-tional structure flattening.Intelligent technologies empower managers to broaden their management scope and increase management efficiency, thereby reducing organizational hierarchy and promoting organizational structure flattening. This paper divides the brain ability of managers into memory function, communication function, decision function and monito-ring function, and constructs a measurement system of management function based on Likert scale. Then, the realization mechanism of technology-driven organizational structure flattening is described using the principle of space theory and technology matching. It is found that when the technical level is constant, there is an inverted U-shaped relationship be-tween management scope and efficiency, that is,too high or too low management scope will have a negative effect on management efficiency. With the upgrade of intelligent technology, the degree of organizational structure flattening will continue to deepen, but the level of flattening will not change when the critical value is reached.Intelligent technology has multi-dimensional empowerment methods for management ability, and the best empowerment path is cloud storage to enable memory function, holographic projection to enable communication function, artificial intelligence to enable deci-sion-making function, and Internet of things to enable monitoring function. The research results further enrich the theoret-ical knowledge of organizational structure reform, and provide a new idea and reference experience for Chinese enterprises to solve the problem of hierarchy, and provide a theoretical basis for the corresponding management policy adjustment.
