Grasping the correct historical view of the CPC in the new era
The 20th National Congress of the CPC clearly stated the need to normalize and institutionalize the study of Party history.So establishing a correct view of Party history and adhering to it is the fundamental prerequisite for effec-tively carrying out the study of Party history.Our stance,viewpoints,and attitudes towards the Party history determine whether we can understand and view the Party history in its true form,and whether we can evaluate the Party history with an objective and correct political stance and a fair and scientific attitude.A correct view of Party history refers to the fun-damental stance,basic viewpoints,and scientific methods derived from a scientific examination of the history of the Com-munist Party of China in comparison with the entire history of China and world history using the Marxist standpoint,view-points,and methods.Its core lies in answering what is the history of the Communist Party of China and how to understand it.Standing at the starting point of a new era and a new journey,we should scientifically examine the entire history of the Communist Party of China,grasp the theme,main line,and essential nature of its history,clarify what constitutes a cor-rect view of Party history.We should deeply understand the Party history,clarify the internal logic of"Marxism in prac-tice"and"Marxism adapted to China's conditions and the times",and clarify why a correct view of Party history is nec-essary.We must scientifically grasp the Party history,adhere to the principles of development,objectivity,holistic think-ing,and scientific standards to study,summarize,and evaluate Party history,and clarify how to adhere to a correct view of Party history.We must approach the Party history with sincerity,adhere to the Party history of struggle,exploration,original aspirations,political forging,and self-revolution,enhance our awareness of learning from history,and clarify what needs to be done and how to do it under the guidance of a correct view of Party history.
