"Digital worship"is a social phenomenon driven by over-reliance on digital technology,leading to the distor-tion of facts,dominance of digital discourse,and inversion of values,propelled by capitalist logic.In such a context,the public may lose their foundation of rational ideological judgment,develop a materialized ideological dependence on digital technology,and even become"believers"of digital worship.The networked world serves as the breeding ground for digit-al worship,providing the environment for its emergence and facilitating its spread.The transformation of digital worship from dataism to digital capitalism,and eventually to digital fetishism,reflects its increasing ideological nature and future trajectory.Followers of digital worship perceive"digital as faith",excessively idolizing digital technology and values,and constructing societal value systems and standards based on digital metrics.In the realm of network ideology,digital wor-ship influences the construction of ideological strongholds,competing for discourse power and challenging the Marxist guiding role in ideological matters.To effectively mitigate the risks posed by digital worship in network ideology,it is es-sential to cultivate the public's awareness of digital subjectivity.The key to risk prevention lies in advancing the modern-ization of digital governance and capabilities to counteract the ideological erosion of digital capitalism.Moreover,safe-guarding against these risks requires reinforcing the guiding role of Marxism in the ideological sphere and creating a hu-man-centered space for digital justice.
