Major depression disorder(MDD)is a common mental disorder that significantly impacts the quality of life of patients and imposes a heavy burden on society.Pharmacotherapy is the main treatment method for MDD and plays a crucial role in the management of MDD.With the in-depth studies on MDD,the types of antidepressive agents and treatment concepts have been developed continu-ously.This article reviews the advances in pharmacotherapy for MDD based on related articles and research data in China and globally.
