Research on the International Education Path of Higher Vocational Colleges in Chongqing under the Background of"One Belt and One Road"
With the deep advancement of"One Belt,One Road"initiative,the international ex-changes and cooperation have become increasingly frequent around the world.This study focuses on the context of the"Belt and Road Initiative"and takes Chongqing higher vocational colleges as the research objects to analyze the motivations for the internationalization of higher vocational colleges based on the quality annual report data of 43 higher vocational schools in Chongqing in 2023,as well as the impact on running schools and the problems such as the small scale of cooperative education development,in-sufficient local awareness of internationalization,low level of teaching staff construction and imperfect training mechanism for international students.In order to solve these problems,measures such as estab-lishing an effective Sino-foreign cooperative education management mechanism,promoting the"local internationalization"cooperation paradigm,building a high-level international teaching team and opti-mizing the recruitment and training mechanism for overseas students are proposed for the vocational col-leges in Chongqing,providing a feasible plan for the school to improve its international education level.
