Countermeasures to Strengthen the Education of the History of the Communist Party of China among College Students in the New Era
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the Party history education,and at the mobilization meeting for the Party history study and education,he emphasized the importance of Party history education in study-ing history to be reasonable,enhance trust,respect morality and practice.However,there are still some problems in current Party history education at the levels of universities,teachers,students and co-con-struction.Based on this,colleges and universities need to improve the organization and leadership mech-anism,human and financial guarantee mechanism and assessment and incentive mechanism at the col-lege level;At the teachers level,they should strengthen their knowledge of Party history and innovate their teaching methods;At the students level,they should correct their learning attitudes and adopt the diversified learning methods;At the co-construction level,the construction of an integrated mechanism for the Party history education at home,school and society need to be promoted to strengthen the effec-tiveness of Party history education in colleges and universities and give full play to the role of Party his-tory education in educating people by drawing lessons from the past and educating people with reference to politics.
