Bacillus Calmette-Guerin(BCG)is a live attenuated vaccine against tuberculosis that is given at birth in healthy newborns.Mild adverse reactions were local skin redness 2-3 days after inoculation,no induration after contact, and resolved after a few days.Disseminated BCG is the most serious adverse reaction. The main clinical manifestations are redness, swelling, ulceration and discharge at the inoculation site, systemic lymph node enlargement, skin mass formation and lung lesions, and may also involve the liver, spleen and bone. The fatality rate of this disease is high, and the choice of early diagnosis and treatment is still a difficult problem. The process and related literature review of a clinically diagnosed child with disseminated BCG in our department are summarized as follows, hoping to provide some help to clinicians in the corresponding profession.
