Objective To investigate the effect of case tracking in the prevention and control of monkeypox patients with HIV infection. Methods A total of 25 cases of monkeypox patients with HIV infection treated in our hospital from June to July 2023 were selected as the research objects. The results of patients' rehabilitation and the quality scores of hospital infection prevention and control were compared before and after the implementation of case tracking method. Results The rehabilitation effect of patients with case tracking management was found to be favorable,and the quality scores of nosocomial infection prevention and control were significantly improved. Moreover,no instances of nosocomial infections were reported. Conclusions The implementation of case tracking and intensive management for monkeypox patients with AIDS infection can significantly enhance the quality of care,effectively control nosocomial infections,and ensure the safety of healthcare professionals and patients,thus warranting its clinical application.
