This article presents a case of brucellosis complicated with Stevens-Johnson syndrome.The patient exhibited an acute onset of the disease without any history of drug allergies.Target-shaped red rashes of varying sizes were observed predominantly on the chest,neck,back,and abdomen,which later progressed into herpes,some merging into larger patches.The eyes and external genitalia were red and swollen,accompanied by bloody scabs.The patient was diagnosed as Stevens-Johnson syndrome.During hospitalization,Brucella melitensis was cultured from the blood.After administering human immunoglobulin infusion,doxycycline combined with rifampicin for anti-infection treatment,and providing skin and mucosal care,the patient's symptoms improved,and the patient recovered and was discharged.
