Connotation Implication,System Model and Gaining Strategies of Adult Learning Ability
Adult learning is an important area of sustained concern for UNESCO.Adult learning ability refers to the relevant abil-ity that adult learners need in the process of lifelong learning activities,as well as the potential energy system that supports the continu-ous development of these abilities.Its formation process is the growth process of adult individuals towards lifelong learners.From the dual perspectives of teleology and motivation theory,the specific connotation of adult learning ability not only includes stimulating and enhancing the autonomous learning willingness and ability of adult learners,but also serves as a driving force to maintain lifelong learn-ing activities,which directly affects learning efficiency and individual learning potential.In terms of structure,adult learning ability is mainly composed of three major elements of fundamentality,representation and modulation,which correspond to the psychological,a-bility and metacognitive levels respectively,and forms a three-dimensional system model of"motivation-behavior-regulation".The growth and improvement of adult learning ability involve the interaction of individuals,education and society.At the individual level,the cultivation includes enhancing the internal cognition of lifelong learning,promoting the transformation of learning ability of personal-ized experience,and constructing a goal-driven self-directed learning paradigm.At the educational level,the gaining needs to eliminate the negative impact of external learning barriers,systematically cultivate learning ability,and develop multi-modal learning assessment tools.At the social level,it is necessary to cultivate a positive culture of lifelong learning and build a high-quality supply system of a-dult learning.
