Three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis on Seepage of Upper Reservoir in Fukang Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Xinjiang
In order to analyze the seepage field of the upper reservoir dam body and dam foundation of Fukang Pumped Storage Power Station under various water level conditions, and obtain the potential distribution of the dam body and dam foundation, the seepage flow in the reservoir area and the other elements, and based on the geological and topographic conditions of the project dam site,a three-dimensional finite element model of seepage is established to calculate. The calculation results show that due to the concrete panel seepage prevention scheme for the entire reservoir basin, the concrete panels are arranged around the reservoir basin, and the sand free concrete cushions and gravel cushions with strong water permeability are set under the concrete panels around the reservoir basin and at the bottom of the reservoir for drainage. The groundwater level in the reservoir area is lower than that of the impermeable panel and the cushion beneath the reservoir basin. Therefore, the sand free concrete cushion and gravel cushion as well as the backfill area at the bottom of the reservoir and the upper rock mass are in an unsaturated state, which will not directly act on the impervious structure. Therefore, the anti-floating safety of the concrete panels around the reservoir and at the bottom of the reservoir can be guaranteed. This scheme is technically reasonable.
