Overall Design of Hongxingping Suspension Bridge on Greenway around Lake
The total length of Hongxingping Suspension Bridge is 232 m.The main bridge is a double-pylon single-span suspension bridge.Its main span is 222 m.The vertical span ratio is 1/10.2.The bridge deck width is 6 m and the clear width is 4.8 m.The reinforced concrete pylon columns are adopted for the cable pylon.The gravity anchors are used as the anchorage of the main cable and wind resistant cable.The stiffening beam is a separated steel box beam.The wind resistant cables are installed upstream and downstream.The key points of the overall design of the pedestrian suspension bridge and the key nodes of the structural design are described in detail,which provides the guidance for similar projects in the future.
