As the spatial development axis across the east and west of Haikou City,Nanhai Avenue is an important transverse trunk road in"four-horizontal eight-longitudinal"trunk road network.Through two dimensions of time and space,after considering the road network structure,transition condition,function positioning and express system,it is given that Nanhai Avenue needs is a certain degree of speedization rather than an expressway.The overall reconstruction strategy of"repair",in the west section"improvement"in the middle section and"connection"in the east section of Nanhai Avenue is proposed to effectively control the construction scale and investment,and form a certain degree of fast east-west major channel.
