Design of Composite Steel Plate Beam for Ziyun Bridge in Fengcheng
The onshore approach bridge of Ziyun Bridge in Fengcheng is a continuous composite steel plate beams. Its span layout in the standard section on the south bank is(34.5+2 × 36+3 × 42+2 × 36+34.5)m.The main beam is a double-girder composite steel plate beam structure, which is a small crossbeam system, and a beam height is 2.1 m.The steel beams consist of the welded Ⅰ-shaped steel longitudinal beam, intermediate small crossbeams and support crossbeam. The longitudinal plate sections of the steel beams within approximately 0.125 L on each side of the intermediate support are made of Q420qD steel, while the rest of the steel materials are Q345qD steel. The bridge deck slabs are the prefabricated full-width prestressed concrete deck slabs, and the concrete of wet joints is the ultra-high-performance concrete(UHPC).The longitudinal steel reinforcement of the prefabricated bridge deck slab extends more than 10 d,eliminating the need for on-site welding or binding. The slab and beam connection uses a new type of grout shear key.The steel beams are connected to the bridge deck slabs through welding studs,grooves,high-strength mortar filler, grouting holes, ventilation holes and rubber strips, forming a completely integrated connection. The steel beams are hoisted in sections by temporary supports. The prefabricated bridge deck slabs are installed in the sequence of first hoisting and combining the positive bending moment region slabs followed by negative bending moment region slabs. The strength, stability, and deformation analyses have been conducted on the structure. The results meet the design requirements.
