Evaluation and Analysis on Bearing Capacity of Old Railway Bridges Based on Finite Element Method
With the rapid development of urban construction and the upgrading or reconstruction of urban traffic some lines,more and more old urban bridges are facing the problem of insufficient bearing capacity.Due to the poor data management in the maintenance process of some early bridges,the old bridge lacks relevant design drawings and completion data.Relying on an actual urban railway bridge case,its bearing capacity are elevated and analyzed by detecting the apparent defects of the bridge on site and using the finite element software Bridge Doctor in order to demonstrate the feasibility of upgrading or reconstructing this old railway bridge,and the retionalization proposal is put forward for ensuring the safety traffic of driving vehicles and pedestrians.
