Study on Failure Mechanism of Landslide Deformation and Prevention Measures of a Highway in Shallow Hilly Area of Southwest China
Due to its unique geographical and geological environment, the southwestern shallow hilly area often forms a typical gentle slope landform The slope surface is mostly covered with thick layers of silty clay with poor physical and mechanical properties The excavation and filling of highways are prone to engineering landslides.Taking a highway landslide as an example, the deformation and failure mode of the landslide is analyzed on the basis of investigating the regional geology, terrain, meteorology and hydrology. The transfer coefficient method(implicit)is used to calculate the parameters of the sliding zone and analyze the sliding force of the landslide. The pile foundation support beam retaining wall is used to comprehensively treat the landslide. The good results are achieved to provide the reference for the analysis and treatment of landslides in filling roadbed engineering in gentle slope areas.
