Urban Traffic Governance Design Process and Scheme Evaluation
When a city grows to a certain size,there is limited space to rely solely on"hardware"facilities to improve traffic efficiency.Therefore,it is urgent to tap the potential in the operation management of the traffic system.Based on the practical engineering experience,the social background and basic concepts of urban traffic governance are introduced,the design process requirements of traffic governance are proposed,the ideas for research boundaries,data collection methods,demand analysis and governance schemes for traffic governance are clarified.The feasible solutions are put forward from the perspectives of demand management and operational management.The urban traffic governance is a systematic project.The continuous improvement of urban traffic governance and the sustainable development of cities can be promoted through the comprehensive measures such as strengthening the intelligent management,promoting the green travel,optimizing the public transportation,alleviating the congestion,improving the safety,innovating the policy coordination,planning the technology applications and promoting the civilized construction.
