GREEN SPACE SYSTEM DESIGN IN LUOYANG USING MUFF MODEL
Using GIS and Huff model this paper presents the measures and schemes of optimizing the green space system by examining and evaluating the current green space of Luoyang. The method is to judge the supply ability of the green space according to its location, scale and form and calculate the absorption value between the green space and residential areas; then study the accessibility, distribution, and service ability of the green space with the demands of residents. It makes the optimization design of green space in Luoyang and then tests the effect of the optimization by Huff model. The results shows that the accessibility and supply ability of optimized green space have been great improved. The research indicates that the GIS technique and Huff model is useful to the analysis and optimization of urban green space in the planning practices.
