PREDICAMENTS IN CHANGES OF URBAN HERITAGES AMID DEVELOPMENT OF “CULTURAL CREATIVE" INDUSTRY: ON INSTITUTIONAL INNOVATION ON PLANNING OF CREATIVE INDUSTRY PARK WITH HERITAGE
Along with the development of creative industry, the conservation of urban heritage has to be combined with the cultural creative industry. In view of the problems caused by the heat of construction of creative industry parks in China, the paper explores the root of the predicament of heritage conservation nowadays with Tianzifang Creative Park in Shanghai as an example, which can be summarized as: firstly, a bias on newly emerged creative industry and related theory; secondly, an over pursuit for "economic benefits;" and thirdly, the normal protection planning cannot fulfill the requirements of creative industry. Based on the analysis, the paper puts forward solutions to break the predicament, that is, finding the new coordinates of culture and exploring innovative planning system for combination between heritage conservation and development of creative industry.
