EXPLORATION ON THE INTEGRATED DESIGN OF PARK CITY STREETS IN THE CONTEXT OF URBAN REGENERATION:TAKING THE REGENERATION AND TRANSFORMATION OF KEHUAN AVENUE IN CHENGDU AS AN EXAMPLE
At present,as China has entered the stage of high-quality development, urban streets that were previously designed with an engineering-oriented and extensive approach can no longer meet the requirements of modern urban development and the people's aspirations for a better life.It has become an inherent requirement of urban street design to place a greater emphasis on human needs in the process of street design,so as to meet the requirements of high-quality construction of modern cities through the design of street space elements and to promote high-quality development of the city.In this paper,by systematically examining domestic and foreign street space-related research and the dilemma of China's street regeneration, this paper puts forward the theoretical connotation and design strategy for the integrated design of park city streets in the context of urban regeneration,i.e.,the integrated design of all elements of the U-shaped space based on the three levels of street layout, street façade control, and configuration of street facilities. Finally, taking Kehuan Avenue in Chengdu as an example,it discusses the strategies and paths of street regeneration and transformation in the non-urban central area against the background of urban regeneration, demonstrates the specific application of U-shape space design strategy, and provides new ideas for the refined design of streets.
