Analysis and Mathematical Modeling of Energy Consumption Subsystem for CNC Machine Tools
According to the energy distribution of the various energy consumption subsystems, the energy consumption equations of subsystems can be isolated, and a mathematical energy model of CNC machine tools can be established depending on the operating characteristics of each subsystem of CNC machine tools. The way of parameter variable collection for energy consumption model is more convenient and easier, and reveals better adaptability for machine types and working conditions. The experimental study shows that the proposed energy consumption model can be used for energy analysis in all operational phases of CNC machine tools (standby, preparation, no-load and processing cutting); also, this model can provide fundamental support for energy efficiency optimization and energy-saving for CNC machine tools, which is promising in practical applications.
