In response to "The Belt and Road" Initiative toward the goal of cultivating international talents,Jiangsu Province has taken positive steps on the road of internationalization of its higher education and achieved remarkable results. However,the internationalization of talents in Jiangsu Province still lags behind the internationalization of its economy. Also,both the quality evaluation and certification system for its higher education internationalization in line with international standards and the actual development of education in Jiangsu Province leave great room for improvement. To advance the internationalization performance of higher education in Jiangsu,it is necessary to establish a classification management system and development plan,further strengthen deep bilateral cooperation between domestic and foreign universities establish an evaluation and certification system for internationalization of higher education and promptly introduce policies and measures to encourage and regulate overseas education.
