Research on Lightweight Design and Energy-saving Optimization of Engines Based on UG
The lightweight design of the engine body is one of the main means to optimize the energy utilization of the engine.In order to reasonably save energy utilization,research has been conducted on the lightweight design and energy-saving optimization methods of the engine based on UG.Specifically,a post processor for UG/Post Builder was set up,relevant parameters were solved,and the development of an engine design module based on UG was completed.In process,the thickness of the body wall was brought under control,the number of bolts was reduced,and a switch to a lightweight crankcase was achieved to ensure the high-pressure sealing state of the body with the completion of the lightweight design of the engine components.The simulation experiment results show that the engine body designed according to the lightweight method has a relatively small self weight and will not cause excessive energy consumption due to the body being too heavy.
